Sedgemoor & Framley
Sedgemoor and Framley is a registered residential care home for people with learning disabilities. The people who live here are aged between 18 and 65 years old.
This home is going through a time of change. Part of this is structural as we are in the process of a huge modernisation and refurbishment project. This will mean on completion the service users will have a modern home with their own en suite accommodation. The home has a rating as Good by CQC and in our aim to become outstanding. There have been many changes taking place with the management of the home and the service users are leading a more varied active life.
Sedgemoor & Framley is a Residential Home for more able People with learning disabilities some have mobility issues or other medical needs. The home accommodates up to 10 service users.
Sedgemoor and Framley is situated in the Upperton part of Eastbourne. The home is 10 minutes’ walk from Eastbourne town centre. There is also a good bus services into town. It is close to many places in the community.
Whilst the refurbishment of Framley home is being undertaken the service users are being accommodated in Sedgemoor home.
There is a large sitting room with plenty of room to sit and talk with friends or sit alone, as well as watch TV or listen to music. The sitting room overlook the large rear gardens and patios. Sedgemoor has it’s own kitchen and dining room.
There is a bungalow situated in the grounds which provides accommodation for one resident and is also used as the sleep in facility for the staff on call at night
