Greensleeves is a Registered Residential Care Home for People with Learning Disabilities
There are currently 9 people living at Greensleeves. The home specialises in providing 24 hour residential care for older people with learning disabilities and physical disabilities.
Residents are enabled to access to day centres and a range of leisure activities, both within the home and in the local community.
The home is a large extended bungalow with nine rooms for single occupancy, all with en-suite facilities. A stair lift provides access to the first floor. Most bathrooms have been specially adapted for those residents who have some physical disability. There is a sitting room, conservatory, dining room and a large kitchen. In the separate laundry room our residents are supported by staff with their own personal laundry requirements.
The home is in a quiet residential area with easy access to local shops and community facilities and close to bus routes into town.
At the rear of the building there is a patio area and a large rear garden with a lawn, kitchen garden and fishpond. There is a large lawn area at the front of the property.
